FS2004 Turboprop Sound Enchancement Package, Version 2.7 Patch. New in this version: Propeller sounds are now realistically controlled by propeller RPM, operating independently from turbine speed. Prop feathering sounds have also been added. Using a combination of default, some 3rd-party and some authentic sounds, the default C208 gets an appropriate utilitarian buzz while the default King Air benefits from a fittingly luxurious tempered drone. Additionally features meticulously crafted stereo sound fields, filtering improvements for more comfortable sound, smoother sounding autostarts, realistic reverse prop and ancillary sounds. All engine sound samples were edited at 32-bit then downsampled to 16-bit. Most utilize a 32 Khz sampling rate some use 44 Khz and true stereo. Compression is used sparingly, hence the huge filesize.

FS2004 Beechcraft Starship sounds. These sounds were modified from the default Cessna Caravan but with a high pitch setting to give the Starship a realistic sound sytem. These sounds are intended for use only in FS2004, these sounds can also be used with planes with 5-6 blade props.

FS2002/FS2004 Helicopter Dynamic Rotor Sound. This gauge is an on/off switch that when on provides a dynamic rotor sound, that changes with the helicopter engines output so you can hear acceleration and deceleration in helicopter engines, instead of that constant plain sound. FS2004 Mooney engine sound fix. This fixes the Mooney's internal engine sounds in two ways: 1 It corrects the stereo sound field so that most of the sound will come from slightly to the right. This simulates In a much better manner than the last version being seated in the left seat. 2 Increases the low-end to produce a more throaty, heavier feel appropriate to such an aircraft. The sounds are based off the uncompressed versions included on disk 3 of FS2000.
