FS2004 Boeing 747-100/200, Flying Tiger Line, N810FT, "Clifford G. Groh".
On June 25, 1945 a group of ex-AVG and CNAC pilots started an airfreight company with government surplus aircraft. In 1947 this initiative was formally given its name Flying Tiger Line. FT/FTL, Flying Tiger Line received its first 747 on August 28, 1974 ,-100 series. N810FT, cn 22237/460, was delivered to Flying Tiger Line on September 12, 1980. N810FT is named after Clifford G. Groh flight leader with the Flying Tigers /AVG 3rd squadron and co-founder of the Flying Tiger Line. N810FT served for nine years with the Flying Tiger Line after which it merged with the Federal Express Fleet, 1989, as N633FE. Life after FedEx? ,yes indeed after four years of cargo hauling with FedEx and one year of service with American Airlines this inexhaustible machine was delivered to Air Hong Kong as VR-HKO for some more cargo flying. Currently cn 22237/460 serves with Polar Air Cargo as N920FT. Traces of a Flying Tigers past can still be found in the Polar Air colour scheme and in this particular case also in its registration number.

FS2004 Boeing 747-412BCF, Martinair Cargo, PH-MCX.
This aircraft would take to the skies in 2007. An ex-Singapore Airlines aircraft, it will become one of the passenger 744s to be converted into a freighter in China. Until a more realistic paint arrives when these colours actually take flight, here's something for you Martinair fans to enjoy. This paint includes completely reworked fuselage textures with a high degree of 3D paint effects. Detailing is based on the recently converted Cathay 747 in China including markings, windows, etc. which makes this aircraft even more realistic. The aircraft has been christened "Prins Claus II".

FS2004 McDonnell Douglas MD-11, Swiss.
This is the Schaffhausen HB-IWC, McDonnell Douglas MD-11 in the colour scheme of Swiss International Airlines, but with Swissair titles. This colour scheme was used for the last Swissair flight ever, on March 27th 2002 from Zürich to Cape Town, which was a charter flight. It is a tribute to an airline, which for many years was the proud flag carrier of Switzerland. It was the end of an era Swissair and at the same time, the beginning of a new one SWISS. Today, this aircraft flies on with Martinair Cargo as PH-MCY.

FS2004 McDonnell Douglas MD-11, Martinair Cargo.
The MD-11 was the swansong for the Douglas Aircraft Company, its last great airliner. A derivative of the highly successful DC-10-30, the MD-11 featured an 18.5ft stretch, drag reducing supercritical wings and winglets, more powerful and efficient turbofan engines, and a revolutionary and spacious glass instrumented cockpit. A high degree of automation endows the MD-11 with precision guided flight from takeoff to landing. Although a commercial failure as a passenger plane, the MD-11 has become a highly valued transport for cargo airlines. Safety concerns have marred the MD-11's image in the past, but with the latest improvements in flight control software and using new electrical engineering methods, the MD-11 has become a true swan of the skies. About 185 MD-11's remain in service, and it is expected that they will endure for many years in the niche they have risen to dominate.
